This game excited me a lot. A co-worker told me they bought it because some of the team from the bioshock series had worked on it. I looked it up and everything looked really good. FTL mixed with Bioshock resource hunting/shooting. The stylised artstyle really appealed to me and the narrative sounded really quirky and interesting. Upon playing, I found myself playing the same levels over and over with just more difficulty in the form of enemies. The game was mostly a grind for resources and clearing whole maps was less rewarding than expected. Even the narrative was a little repetitive for me. Overall this game wasn't what I expected and while I feel like its a good game and its definitely has its appeal, it wasn't for me.
